Hi, I'm Becky! I’m a graphic designer with a passion for interior design who loves few things more than my family, good design and curating spaces that bring joy to myself and others.

ree

I graduated Magna cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2003 with a B.S. degree in Graphic Design. I have worked as a graphic designer at small design firms and advertising agencies, as well as an in-house designer for larger corporations. I recently left my position as Vice President Creative Services of 14 years to pursue graphic and interior freelance design. I have always had a passion for graphic design, but really wanted to explore interior design, another passion of mine. And what better way to do that than working for myself!

Virgo to the core, I combine my organizational and analytical side with my curiosity and intuition. I like to see what happens when two unexpected things collide to create something beautiful. After all, what’s better than leather + lace, traditional + modern, leopard + stripes?

Here are just a few more things about me:

Nickname: Beck Colorstrology: Green Oasis (Detail-Oriented, Profound, Kind) Check out the book on Amazon!

Favorite Color: Too many to choose from, I love them all! Pattern I Can't Live Without: Leopard (I've never met a leopard print I didn't like)

ree

Favorite Material: Velvet Favorite Graphic and Interior Design Mantra: "It doesn't have to match, it just has to go" My Obsessions: Clothes, Shoes, Rugs, Chairs, Pillows (A Girl Can Never Have Too Many Shoes or Rugs) Something Most People Don't Know About Me: I do my own acrylic nails

ree

Something Most People Do Know About Me: I'm obsessed with tattoos (I have too many to count). I think they are beautiful and a true artistic expression of oneself. They are the perfect accessories!

Favorite Graphic Design Principle: White Space – White space is your friend. Every person and object needs room to breathe.

Favorite Interior Design Principle: Rhythm – As in music, rhythm in design is all about creating patterns of repetition and contrast to create visual interest. Keep the eye moving around the room by using a color in the pillows, picking it up in a painting, and echoing it again in a rug. It’s all about the flow!
